Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2nd, 1981) is an South African actress, model and a TV personality. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. She began her acting career as a New Zealander on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress appeared in a lot of television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Since the year 2016 Brandt has played the role of Mazikeen in the series of urban fantasy Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town, South Africa. The family moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she reached her teens. The path she took to her career started as model for print ads and commercial ads. Her rise to stardom as a supermodel began when she worked in the retail industry and IT recruitment. In 2009, she was a part-time actress as a character on a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. The year 2021 was the year that her first major role came in the role of Naevia the slave girl on the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. In the miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena in the year 2021, she played the character Naevia. Craig Parker and she co-starred in three different television shows, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter for Netflix's cult show Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date. The series stars Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside as well as D. B. Woodside.
